50 Cent wants to Give Kanye West a Black Eye
50 needs to get in line.
The backlash against Kanye West's antics during the MTV Video Music Awards has finally reached a deafening pitch. Singer Katy Perry said his move against Taylor Swift was like "stepping on a kitten." Even President Obama allegedly called him a "jack-ass" while off-camera during an interview.
And now, rapper 50 Cent is slamming West. In an interview with MuchMusic, 50 Cent said no matter how many times West apologizes he will never be able to make up for what he did.
"At that point, you can't replace it," 50 said. "Even an apology can't replace what it feels like for the very first time receiving that award. Now in her head, 'My first award was Kanye West.' And it's damaging. I wish he would come take one of my awards so I can black his eye in front of everybody."
In case you missed it, West has been the target of anger and disgust after he grabbed the microphone from best video winner Taylor Swift and said that Beyonce's video was better.
So far, Kanye has apologized three times (twice on his blog and once on the premiere of The Jay Leno Show), but that may not be enough. After all, according to Taylor Swift in an interview with The View, he still hasn't personally contacted her.
