4 People Arrested After Accidentally Dialing Deputy's Number to Arrange a Drug Deal
Rowan County deputy received four calls around 4 a.m.
Don't you hate when you discover that you've accidentally dialed the wrong number? It can be quite the embarrassing situation ... Especially if the phone call is made around 4 A.M., involves a drug deal, and the person on the receiving end is a police officer. Oops!
Jagger Naves, a Rowan County deputy, was enjoying some much-needed sleep when he receives a barrage of phone calls, according to The Salisbury Post. The first call came in around 3:51 a.m., followed by others at 4:02, 4:04 and 4:05.

On the fourth attempt to reach their connection, the early morning callers left Naves a voicemail, detailed in the Sheriff's Office report: "This isn't even a $10 rock. You need to make this right!"
The deputy then phoned the callers back, arranging to meet up with two of them in one area, and the other two elsewhere, leading to four arrests.
Complaining about the quality of your drugs to one of North Carolina's finest just doesn't seem like the brightest thing to do. Note to those of you who dabble: put your dealer's (correct) number in your speed dial to avoid making a similar mistake!
