15th Annual SAG Award Winners Announced!
And the winners are...
The 15th Annual SAG Awards went down pretty much as expected, from what I could tell. All the actors came together and voted for who they thought should get kudos for their work in '08. The ladies brought it with elegant gowns (mostly in blue - did anyone else notice that?), the men looking dapper in tuxes, and anyone you'd bet on winning did.
SPOILERS AHEAD! Do not read if you don't want to know who won!
Is anyone surprised that Heath Ledger took a posthumous trophy? Or that awards-season golden girl, Kate Winslet, snagged one for her mostly-nude Nazi in The Reader? But the emotional acceptance speech by The Dark Knight co-star Gary Oldman for Ledger's award was a nice moment in an otherwise staid ceremony. Also, for as much sass as we've been giving Winslet, I have to admit I covet that blue dress. Covet.
