A Bachelor Spinoff Coming: The Bachelor Pad

Put the bachelors and bachelorettes together!

Just in case you haven't had enough of The Bachelor (it's only the 14th season, plus 5 seasons of The Bachelorette), ABC will soon be coming out with a Bachelor spinoff. I'm not going to lie, I'll be watching it.

Yes, I am one of those people who watches The Bachelor season after season... because what if I miss some drama like the whole Rozlyn/producer affair? So I'm quite excited for this new spinoff called Bachelor Pad. It's going to take 20 contestants from previous seasons and throw them all in a house together, Big Brother style. Bring on the drama!

These Bachelor and Bachelorette all-stars will be living in a house, competing in competitions, and participating in weekly evictions. According to the show's executive producer, "All these people have been friends, been enemies, they date each other and bring all this great backstory to the show... It seemed like there was an opportunity to combine that world with a new competitive reality show."

Chris Harrison is on board to host the show and the show already has lots of previous contestants on board. Allegedly, there are even some previous Bachelor/Bachelorette winners on board for the show! This could get interesting.

The show is set for a 7-episode run and will likely premiere late this summer. Will you be watching Bachelor Pad or have you had enough with all these reality TV dating shows?
