ABC Chief Hits Back at Katherine Heigl's Negativity
Katherine Heigl's negative comments about Grey's Anatomy have not gone down well with ABC Entertainment chief Stephen McPherson. Heigl, 30, plays the role of Izzie Stevens in the show and has had made comments about having to work a 17-hour day.
She also said she didn't want to be considered for an Emmy nomination as she didn't think the material on the show was worth recognition. McPherson said: "I think it's unfortunate. It's not something I think you want to let consume you or your people because it is what it is. People are going to behave in the way they choose to behave. "There are so many people who work unbelievably hard on Grey's and go without any notoriety or credit for it. Those are the people I would be most concerned about. The people who are really busting their tail every day and feel like they're either being looked down upon or criticised."
