Adam Brody spoke with MTV reporters Tuesday at a promo event for his upcoming movie, "The Romantics." One interviewer pointed out that Brody's comment pointed at Kristen Stewart during a Diablo Cody interview unleased a "hate-on-Adam-Brody" campaign. So was the quote taken out of context?
Brody says no -- at the time, he meant what he said. From MTV.com:
"I, no, I just, I, this is horrible," he started, seemingly uncomfortable addressing the hot-button issue. "It wasn't taken out of context. I saw [the interview] and thought I sounded like an idiot. I did," Brody admitted. "Regardless of how anyone else took anything, I would think that sounds very ungentlemanly and I sounded like a jackass."

There are no accounts that suggest Kristen Stewart responded to Adam Brody's attack in specific, but Stewart has been hard at work on her risque role for "On the Road." During press junkets for "Eclipse," Stewart did begin to backpedal, suggesting that she's sorry for acting so ungratefully about her high-paying, high-benefit job and the legions of fans who love her. Sounds like she's finally picking up what we're putting down.
