Adam Lambert 'Good Morning America' Appearance Canceled

We knew Adam Lambert's American Music Award performance had ruffled some feathers, but this we were not expecting. Turns out Lambert's lewd display at the AMAs Sunday night has gotten him into a wrestling match wtih ABC -- and they've just told Lambert not to bother showing up for his Good Morning America appearance that was scheduled for Wednesday morning.
Apparently this is ABC's response to the thousands of complaints that they and the Parents Television Council have been receiving since Sunday night's AMA performance where Lambert simulated oral sex with a male dancer, flipped the crowd the bird, made out with a male keyboardist, and wrapped a female dancer's privates around his ankle.
By Monday ABC had received over 1,500 phone calls about the performance, and they weren't exactly supportive. It's reported that parents across America are infuriated that they support the entertainment industry with their dollar, and in return their children are exposed to an uncensored sex show on network TV.
This is one of those things that's sure to blow over, but only if Lambert stays bold. If he shies away from the controvery too soon, it'll be impossible to believe that his career is truly For Your Entertainment.
