Adrienne Maloof Confirms Split from Dr. Paul Nassif

Sadly, the curse of reality TV strikes again, this time claiming the marriage of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills heiress Adrienne Maloof and her husband, Dr. Paul Nassif.

For the past two seasons, Maloof and Nassif have been known for their bickering - but it was always assumed to be friendly rather than anything serious. But that all changed late last night when Radar reported that Nassif would be filing for separation.

Earlier today, Maloof confirmed the news. "I'm so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what's best for them," Adrienne told Radar.

At the moment, it's unclear whether or not the couple's marital problems will play out on Season 3 of the Bravo show, which is about to wrap shooting.

They are the latest Housewives couple to announce a split. Others include LuAnn de Lesseps from Real Housewives of New York, Nene Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta and Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney from Real Housewives of Orange County to name a few.

They are parents to three young sons. It remains to be seen if they will be filing for divorce and, if so, how custody will be divided. And, of course, there's a whole lotta money in those Maloof/Nassif coffers. Let's hope they play nicely.
