Alec Baldwin Wishes He Were Leonardo DiCaprio

We'd say Alec Baldwin has had quite the successful career. But apparently, he's looking at Leonardo DiCaprio with a little bit of envy. Of course, you can't blame him as Leo is one of the hugest stars of our time. But still, we wouldn't trade Alec in for anyone!

We love when a star can pay another star a compliment without any sign of jealousy. Alec Baldwin kind of wishes he were Leonardo DiCaprio and he's not afraid to admit it. Alec actually appeared with Leo in Martin Scorsese's The Aviator and it appears that's where his admiration started.

According to Baldwin, "I just feel like the kind of work I would love to have done would have been more like when Leo did The Aviator. I love Leo. I adore him and envy him. I remember being there with him and thinking that he has youth, he has talent, he has opportunity, he has everything in the business. I thought, ‘What a great gift - to have that convergence of all your abilities and the opportunity to work with Marty Scorsese, and the scripts and the budgets and everything."

Aww, poor Alec sounds a little bit down about his career. But there's absolutely nothing to be down about. After co-hosting a successful Oscars show with Steve Martin and recently starring in the hilarious It's Complicated with Steve and Meryl Streep, we're basically loving Alec Baldwin right now. And we wouldn't want him to be Leonardo DiCaprio for one second. Be proud of who you are, Alec! Just try not to act douchey... You know, because Leo wouldn't be douchey and all.
