Was it risky for Amanda?

In the upcoming movie, Chloe, Amanda Seyfried and Julianne Moore have a love-making scene. Now they're talking about what it was like getting intimate with each other and Amanda's wondering if it was a risky career move for her.

Yes, it's true that Americans are known for being prudes. And while some people might choose not to see a movie with nudity and explicit love scenes, would they really completely turn on an actress for being in one? Amanda Seyfried is a bit worried. She says, "The risk factor came with the fact that the nudity could potentially create some damage with my American audience... I had to do it. It was clearly the riskier choice but I think the better choice."

So, Amanda's typical teen audience won't likely be seeing Chloe, but we see it as Amanda's chance to grow and reach an entirely new audience. And we're sure her young viewers will be back for her next teen movie.

And Julianne Moore talks about doing a love scene with Amanda and claims it wasn't much different than doing a love scene with a man. She says, "Was it different because it was [with] a girl? No... Whenever you have an intimate scene with somebody, you're very prepared. Everyone knows exactly what's happening and it's usually very choreographed... Amanda and I were comfortable with each other." Then again, Julianne Moore is pretty used to getting naked.
