Amber Heard's Color-Friendly Look

We love Amber Heard's recent look for The Stepfather premiere. Talk about some intuitive makeup! While a lot of us tend to ignore traditional seasonal coloring rules, some of them will help you choose the right hair color, eyeshadow, and lip color the next time you're browsing. Easy tips await!

To discover whether or not you are suited by warm or cool tones, have a look in your jewelry box. If gold looks better on you (and your veins appear almost greenish under your skin at the wrists), go for deep coffee browns and even brick reds as a seasonal palette. Paul and Joe's Brick Roof had me rather interested when I was doing my shopping (I'm warm, too!).

If silver flatters you better and your veins look blue under your wrist skin, select reds and pinks complete with a blue undertone, or "icy" blues. Amanda Heard's smoked-out eyes really bring out the blue, and her lipstick is the perfect tone we're all hunting down--the type that makes our cheeks rosier. I think that this NARS eyeshadow single is a good way to experiment with the right shade of eyeshadow, and you can slick on some great berry lipstick to top it all off.

As for the perfect dress, that's where we may want to deviate most of all. Amanda is in awesome shape, and this look, at least for me, is going to need to be reworked way more than the makeup.
