Oh, dang. The Amy Poehler and Will Arnett divorce news is kind of, sort of, devastating.

In the celeb world, where marriages crumble in the blink of an eye, and you mostly don't bat an eyelash -- this one hurts.

Mostly because Poehler and Arnett seemed made for each other.

The talented comedy couple seemed so well matched for one another... plus, they have two adorable kids, Archie, 3, and Abel, 2.

I have a total sad face going on, but given their personalities, I have no doubt they're working their separation out so it's best for the kids.

Poehler and Arnett's rep confirmed the news with Us Magazine, with a source telling the site, "It's very amicable."

They were married for nine years -- which, by celebrity standards, is a lifetime.

Of course, this makes me wonder if they'll ever appear on a TV or movie screen together again -- Poehler had a guest role on Arnett's Arrested Development and he reciprocated by appearing on Parks and Recreation. Plus, they were hilarious is Blades of Glory and both lent their voices to Horton Hears a Who.

This was Poehler's first marriage and Arnett's second (he was married to actress Penelope Ann Miller for a year; they divorced in 1995).

A blind item earlier this week at LaineyGossip.com alluded to Poehler and Arnett's break up, noting, "there was no third party involvement."
