Anderson Cooper Saves Haitian Boy
From Our Friends at PopEater
Want to enjoy the Silver Fox in an entirely new way? CNN's Anderson Cooper was recently captured throwing his camera aside in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti to save a young boy, bleeding profusely after being struck in the head. PopEater reports on that and more.
While Anderson Cooper's civilian rescue was a powerful thing to watch, he wasn't the only one to step into the Superhero Shoes this past weekend. Dr. Sanjay Gupta, who also arrived in Haiti to report for CNN, performed surgery on a girl with dangerous head wound.
"She had a 0.4-inch chunk of concrete embedded in her skull," PopEater described. "Assisted by Los Angeles surgeon Henri Ford, Gupta pulled off the surgery between his multiple reports for CNN."
The clips of both these heroic acts can be found at PopEater. Let's not forget that some people will be inspired just by watching these two in action. On to the clips!
