Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter is Following in Mom's Footsteps

Five years after she overdosed on prescription drugs, Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead, has started modeling for the company that helped launch her mom's career.

Six year-old Dannielynn is the new face of Guess? Kids. Paul Marciano, the creative director for Guess Inc., says that the little girl has the “same playful spirit” as her mother and, her father, Larry, says that modeling is "a way for [his daughter] to connect with the mom she never knew.

“Dannielynn has always looked up to her mom’s image and … I think that this is kind of Dannielynn’s way of paying tribute to her mom in her own special way,” Birkhead said on Good Morning America today.

Look for Dannielynn's ads -- which co-star Babyface's daughter Peyton Edmunds, early next year.
