AnnaLynne McCord Works on Her Mane
How Do You Keep Away Dye Drips?
AnnaLynne's hair was recently the focus of some criticism, but at least she gets to use her star pull to have the pros tame her tresses! Since not all of us get 90210-level primping, here's how to avoid your hair dye streaking away when you're doing it at home.
Pro-level DIY tips at home include:
*Rubbing It Out: If you have a spot of dye staining your skin before washing, one tip that the pros use to to apply a bit of dye from the hair to the skin, right on top of the stain. Why not give it a shot? Interestingly, cigarette ash rubbed onto the stain and then rinsed will also remove drip marks.
*Conditioning Away: Use thick but inexpensive conditioner to protect your forehead, ears, and neck from getting dyed. While you'll need to find a hair conditioner than doesn't run, once you've got one, you'll love the lack of stained skin.
*Hanging Onto a Tool or Two: Change your gloves during the dye process to keep from smearing hair dye around.
Here's to coming out of our home hair dyeing experiences with a look better than AnnaLynne McCord's!
