Anne Hathaway Cried When She Cut Off Her Hair for Les Miserables Movie
Anne Hathaway: Devastated by Pixie Haircut
Anne Hathaway didn't take her recent hair cut with her usual level of sophistication.
She full-out cried when she had to have it all chopped off for her role in Les Miserables.
Hathaway admitted during an interview on Live! With Kelly that it didn't go as well as she expected it to go, although she had prepared herself ahead of time.

She explained, "I wasn't expecting it to be a big deal. It was my idea to do it, since it was something the character did ... [But then] I realized I couldn't take it back."
Hathaway added, "[I was] a mental patient level of crying ... I was inconsolable."
No doubt many a woman has had a bad haircut that's reduced her to tears, but in Hathaway's case, she really cut off part of her identity.
It's likely the big fat movie paycheck snapped her back into the reality of it all -- after all, it is only hair and will grow back!

Now it looks like we'll be on Anne Hathaway hair watch, as we keep dibs on the stages of growing her hair out (never an easy thing) before she's set to marry Adam Shulman in October 2013.
Hathway plays Fantine in the upcoming movie adaptation of the musical Les Miserables.
