Anne Hathaway Joining Cast of Spider-Man 4?
There have been a ton of rumors about who will play the Black Cat in Spider-Man 4. The latest actress who is reportedly being considered: Anne Hathaway.
Do you see Anne Hathaway in this role? Could be interesting, but if you are like us, you first need to know a little more about this Black Cat character before imagining Hathaway in the role. We imagine the character is dangerous and sexy.
According to Empire Movies, "The role in question is that of Felicia Hardy/Black Cat... Black Cat's father will run the Daily Bugle. She'll start out as a hero, but when something happens to him, she turns villain."
Other actresses who are being considered for this role are Rachel McAdams, Romola Garai and Julia Stiles.
So, how reliable is this casting rumor? Well, it's Nikki Finke who is doing the reporting on this one and she has an uncanny way of being right when is comes to Marvel.
Spider-Man 4 is supposed to start filming next year for a Summer 2011 release, but nothing has yet been confirmed.
Personally, I think Anne Hathaway would be great in this role. Something about her eyes would totally fit into the cat character. Meow! Would you like to see Anne Hathaway tackle this role?
