Life Is Better Shared ... At Appleby's?

There's nothing lamer than posting stuff on Pinterest. Unless it's on Twitter, or Facebook. That's according to restaurant chain Appleby's, which has unleashed a terrible, unfunny ad campaing telling you to try and be just a little cooler by hanging out there. And, while being "plugged in" all day to the point of excluding everything else in your life is indeed lame, is eating at Appleby's any cooler? (In a word; no.)

Introducing the Girl's Night Out Goddess, a no-nonsense, been-around-the-block older party girl who, at best, reminds you of that one aunt who can't keep her nose out of a martini glass and offers terrible advice and unfunny one-liners.

Appleby's offers up a three-course serving of these videos, which start out as cheap psuedo social media tutorials that end up interrupted by the Goddess.

The shrill caricature scolds us for spending time on sites like Twitter and Pinterest, then suggests we would have a better place to gossip if we all went to Appleby's instead.
