Are Fur Cap Sleeves Over-the-Top Ridiculous?

We've been talking about fur a lot lately here at Limelife. Between fur vests and fur jackets, we might be on fur overload. But now we're hearing about the newest trend: fur cap sleeves. And we think we might have to draw the line.

We don't have a problem with fur (as long as it's fake!), but we do think there's such a thing as fur overload. And we're just not feeling the fur cap sleeves that a few celebrities have been spotted wearing lately. Last year, Sarah Jessica Parker and Angie Harmon were spotted wearing fur cap sleeves and then, more recently, Gina Gershon and Naomi Campbell were trying to rock them.

But really, they simply look like they're going to a formal event with an animal sitting atop their shoulders. They especially don't make sense since lots of the ladies are wearing them with skimpy-ish dresses. So, it's not like they're trying to keep warm. It's all about the "fashion" for them.

mystyle.com wants to know if you view these fur cap sleeves as flashy and luxurious or over-the-top? We think it's a bit much and hope it doesn't become the next big thing in fashion!
