It's been almost three years since news broke that Chris Brown assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Now it sounds like they may be hooking up on the down low.

Don't do it, girl.

Us Weekly reports that multiple sources confirm that Rihanna and Brown have "secretly been hooking up for nearly a year."

Ruh-roh.

Following the assault, Brown was ordered to stay away from Rihanna (understandably), but it seems the two may have found their way back into each others' hearts.

It was February 8, 2009 when Brown beat Rihanna in his car following a pre-Grammy party.

A source squeals to Us Weekly that the couple "meet up very casually," adding, "She comes to see him anytime she's in L.A."

A music industry source tells the mag, "They can't get enough of each other. I don't see it ending well."

How could it, really?

Yet another insider says, "Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that."

Meanwhile, Brown's rep maintains that they are "just friends" and that "he's not cheating" on girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
