Artie Lange Suicide Story Upsets Howard Stern
Stern says he's "p-ed off."
We reported Thursday on the sad and graphic details that hit the press regarding comedian and Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange's suicide attempt, according to a source. Now Stern is speaking out about how the source and the New York Post handled the news -- here's what he had to get off his chest.
"I would love to know who the scumbag is who releases that to the press, because this is a private matter," Stern said publicly Thursday night. "I don't know what to say. I work with Artie, I love Artie. Everyone has their demons, including myself, but he's wrestling with some serious stuff ... When I heard the news it was too much to bear."
And, he says, he's pissed. "I'm p-ed off the story got out there, p-ed off at the sh*thead who got paid 10 bucks to talk to Page Six ...This is a family matter. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to say."
Although...the situation appears to have the public paying a lot more attention than usual to to Howard Stern and his show this week. What's that thing they say about negative publicity?
