Ashlee Simpson's Son Turns One: "Best Year Of My Life"

It's awesome to see little kids get loved, and it's awesome to see a happy mom. Friday was the first birthday of little Bronx Mowgli Simpson-Wentz, son of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. The whole Simpson family celebrated, but mom Ashlee, 25, may be the most elated of them all.
Bronx's aunt Jessica Simpson took to Twitter to tell her followers how much she adores her nephew: "Happy Birthday to my precious angel on earth!!! Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can't believe it has been a year already."
Indeed time flies when you're having fun with a little one. Ashlee echoed her sister's excitment, saying, "BX's 1st bday tomorrow! My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life."
Ashlee and Pete, who have been married since May 2008, were recently spotted exiting a toy store with Bronx and a big toy dump truck in tow. Life's good when you're loved! Ashlee recently said motherhood "is the most fantastic experience I have ever been through," and that little Bronx makes her "laugh and smile everyday."
Ashlee loves momming so much that she recently announced she'll be giving up singing to spend more time with her little guy...but she won't give up Broadway! She's back to black for her upcoming role as Roxy Hart in Chicago.
