From Full House to fashion designer

Ashley Olsen announced she's retiring at age 22. But just from acting. She wants to put her full concentration on fashion. And we're OK with that.

Some love it and some hate it. But it's hard to deny that Ashley Olsen has style, even if it's not your kind of style. And you've probably noticed Mary-Kate seems to be doing a lot more acting these days than twin sister Ashley. That's because Ashley just isn't as into acting as she used to be.

Ashley says, "I've been transitioning from acting as a kid to doing something that I'm choosing for myself - to be part of the fashion industry. That's what I want for my future. It has nothing to do with my past, nothing to do with anyone else's agenda. And I followed my heart the whole way."

Ashley currently runs two fashion lines, The Row and Elizabeth and James, with some help from her sister. We've always been a bit more into Ashley's style than Mary-Kate's so we're happy she's taking charge of things. And now that she's focusing on it full-time, we can't wait to see what else she comes up with!
