Avon and Carlos Falchi Launch Mark Fashion Line
More than just makeup
We know and love Avon for their beauty and skincare lines. And we especially love Avon's Mark for it's more fun line of products. But did you know Mark teamed up with Carlos Falchi for a small Mark fashion line? And we actually love it!
Brazilian designer Carlos Falchi teamed up with Avon's Mark to design a line of beach-ready fashions that's small, but sweet. It currently includes a brightly colored dress that doubles as a beach coverup (that we're absolutely in love with), a pair of sandals, a hat, some bathing suits, and some jewelry.
We're hoping Mark is simply waiting to see how the line sells before expanding it. The prices are right-- the dress/coverup is only $34-- and the line seems like the perfect complement to Avon's image. The line also, appropriately, includes a few items of makeup, so you can complete that beach-ready look.
According to Carlos Falchi, "I knew right away that my home country of Brazil would be the perfect theme... Rio embodies color, vibrancy and spirit, all of which are reflected in this collection. Each piece is unique and incorporates my signature features like the colorful lining of the bags inspired by the Copacabana boardwalk, the Rio ready mini tie finishing and the unique fabrications."
Perhaps Mark will start teaming up with more designers and continue expanding their brand? We think this is totally smart of them!
