Avril Lavigne only recently filed for divorce from her now ex-husband Deryck Whibley, but it's apparent that she's moving on rather quickly. The Canadian rocker was recently seen in New York City joined at the lips with some sexy man.

I can't keep up with this girl, who was just recently said to be dating Wilmer Valderamma. While the two have remained friends since they first met in '05, Avril's single status kicked things into high gear, and they supposedly "closed the club, sneaking out just after 2" earlier in November after they "went public" in Los Angeles.

Things have changed quickly for Avril, who was supposedly seen "passionately making out" at the Rose Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel on Tuesday night. PopEater reports some of the nitty-gritty of the night, including Avril's moments when she managed to stop locking lips with her mystery man:

"The 25-year-old singer was perched next to a handsome mystery man and seemed to get a kick start when Jet's 'Are You Gonna Be My Girl' began playing. The mystery man ordered a bottle of champagne, which she sipped from in between smooches."

People say that Avril exchanged numbers with the guy at the end of the night--perhaps we'll be seeing him again?
