Awkward Alert! Katie Holmes and Suri Run Into People Dressed As Them For Halloween

One Was Even Wearing A "Free Katie" T-Shirt!

Don't you just hate it when you're trying to catch a quiet, pre-Halloween bite at your local five star Asian restaurant and you turn around only to find there's a group of Trick-or-Treaters dressed up as you and your six year-old daughter?

That's what recently happened to Katie Holmes in NYC, according to a new Radar story. The former Mrs. Tom Cruise was dining with her mini-me, Suri, at Mr. Chow in Tribeca the other night when a group of revelers walked in. One of the women, reportedly dressed as Holmes, donned a "Free Katie" T-shirt while another sported a Suri getup. And yes, they had a Tom Cruise with them.

After spotting them, Katie quietly gathered her daughter and ducked out while the group was left understandably red-faced.

"When they sat down, they exchanged an awkward glance with Katie, but she kept her cool and didn't say anything," a source told Radar. "The embarrassed Halloween crew quickly covered up the costumes before Suri got a chance to look."

Considering she had Suri with her, we don't blame Katie for hustling out of there. That said, man, we wish she'd taken a picture with them!
