Barbara Walters '10 Most Fascinating People': Who Did She Forget?

No Tiger? No Twilight?

In Barbara Walters' TV special last night, the veteran hostess interviewed her 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009. There were the obvious choices, like Lady Gaga and Sarah Palin. But after seeing people like Kate Gosselin and Brett Favre, we thought it would be best to give a shoutout to the folks who should have made it instead.

Apparently only the cream of the crop qualify for Barb's 2009 all-star team, and we have no qualms with headliners Lady Gaga, Sarah Palin and Adam Lambert. Each has created his or her own special brand of controversy this year, and people just can't get enough news and gossip about them.

But a few of Walters' other picks left us scratching our heads. Was Kate Gosselin really more interesting the Twilight cast -- Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner? Either they had some seriously busy schedules while promoting New Moon, or Barbara just doesn't feel the vampire heat.

Also, no Tiger Woods? Was his sexy sex scandal just a tad too recent? We thought the name Barbara Walters meant something in this town, and when she calls for an interview you agree, no questions asked.

There are a bunch of other names that pop to mind -- Ted Kennedy, Rush Limbaugh, Jay Leno, Serena Williams, Oprah.
