Equally Awesome Halloween Suggestions

Twilight vampires are totally hot, but you know that you'll be elbowing other Edward Cullens and Rosalies out of the way left and right. Instead of becoming a Cullen or a member of The Volturi, why not try out these equally creepy Halloween costumes instead?

From the silver to small screen, there's plenty more creepy Halloween costumes to try that at least rival the Twilight crew. Here's just a sampling of vamp and non-vamp selections that could make Edward Cullen go green with jealousy:

*The "Summer of Fear" Witch: This Wes Craven-directed TV movie is amazing, and you can put on some black lingerie, colored contacts, and dramatic late '70s hair to rock the look. Check out the 1:00 mark for inspiration.

*Dusk Til Dawn Vamp: Channel Salma Hayek (pre snake head) with gorgeous long hair and daring ensemble. Think belly dancer gone bad, with some bronzer and luscious lips. Since colored contacts are perfect for vampire looks, you might want to incorporate those, too... like a red-brown? I would carry a faux snake as well.

*Emergency Exorcist Costume: You've got all the Halloween stuff, but your costume falls through. No problem! Channel Linda Blair in The Exorcist by simply wearing a nightgown, putting on your colored contacts, and adding "chunky" skin with a little bit of paper mache paste on your skin, with powder on top. Crazy hair is a must.
