Best. Roommates. Ever.: Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling
Justin Timberlake Told Ellen DeGeneres He and Ryan Gosling Were Roommates When They Starred on The Mickey Mouse Club Together
Oh, to have been a female, teenage fly on that wall … Justin Timberlake says he and fellow future superstar Ryan Gosling were roommates when they co-starred on The Mickey Mouse Club together in the early 1990s.
While appearing on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show this week to promote his new thriller flick In Time, the former 'N Sync-er 'fessed up that not only were he and Gosling roomies, but that they also liked to stir up a little trouble during their MMC days.

"We used to do terrible things. We thought we were so cool,” Timberlake said. "Looking back on them, they weren’t as bad as I thought they were at the time. We stole a golf cart. And we were like, 'Yeah, man. We’re stealing a golf cart!'"
The two lived together because Gosling's mom had to remain in Canada to keep her job, so little Ryan was left with Justin, under the watchful eye of Mama Timberlake in Florida, where the series filmed.
"We were probably a little closer than the rest of the kids that were on the show just because we had to share a bathroom."
And yes, for those of you wondering about the girl in that photo: it is Britney Spears, who, along with Christina Aguilera, Felicity star Keri Russell and Timberlake's fellow future 'N Sync bandmate JC Chasez, were also Mickey Mouse Club stars.
The episode of Ellen with Timberlake airs on Oct. 27.
