Bette Midler Gives Jennifer Aniston Dating Tips

There's a lot of fish in the sea, Jen.

When Bette Midler sees a fellow Hollywood starlet in trouble, she cooks up a cure real quick. So what's her prescription for Jennifer Aniston's troubled love life? Race-car drivers.

In an interview with People, the 63 year-old stage and screen star gave her take on Aniston's situation. "She needs an exciting guy," she said, "like a race-car driver."

"I think she needs somebody who cherishes her, but also somebody who's going to give her a run for her money."

Well, what's wrong with Vince Vaughn?

"I actually thought Vince Vaughn was great," she said. "He's hilarious, he's good-looking. I mean, I thought he had it all."

Ok then, how about with John Mayer?

"Well, he's a good-looking guy," Midler said of their much-publicized on-again off-again relationship. "I've got to say, I watched it for awhile, but I have no opinion. I just read a few of the blogs."

So it seems Bette is in the same boat as the rest of us. No one actually knows Jennifer Aniston, but we all have opinions of what she needs.

But we'll keep hoping Aunti Bette can still find her a nice boy.
