Beyonce Has Signed a $50 Million Pepsi Deal
Because, You Know, Beyonce's Really Hurting for Cash
Following in Michael Jackson's footsteps, new mom Beyonce has landed a $50 million Pepsi endorsement deal.
The New York Times today reported that the Crazy Love singerwill work closely with the soda brand on a "hybrid project" that will involve a whole lot more than just starring in commercials.

“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyoncé said in a statement released by the brand. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
Not surprisingly, the campaign will coincide with the release of her as yet untitled forthcoming CD (which doesn't have a street date at this time) and the first of her new television spots will premiere during SuperBowl 47 on February 3rd. Guess who's performing the half time show that's also sponsored by Pepsi? Yup. Beyonce.
