Beyonce's 'Heat' Best-Selling Celeb Fragrance [LIST]
What's Your Poison Of Choice?
If you’re anybody who’s anybody, you have your own perfume. Suffice to say, I don’t have my own perfume, and instead have to wear the scents of those more rich and famous than I. But, with so many bottled celebrities on the shelves, which are the most popular?
According to The Fragrance Shop over in the UK, Beyonce's fragrance is the bestselling celebrity perfume. The Bootylicious singer's debut scent, called Heat, is described as a mixture of floral, fruity and woody, with tones of milkwood and tonka bean (and dollar bills?).
That of course, is the opinion of the Brits. Beyonce’s Heat perfume was actually 2010’s bestseller in the US however, in 2011, it dropped to third place. According to Forbes, the late Elizabeth Taylor’s White Diamonds scent, which was launched way back in 1991, is now the bestselling celebrity fragrance of 2011. But enough of the good stuff. Let’s take a look at some of the bad celebrity smells. . .
Passport Collection by Paris Hilton: These are the socialite’s 11th/12th/13th fragrances. Is it fair to say her 15 minutes are waning.
Lollipop Bling by Mariah Carey: Nobody over the age of 12 would admit to wearing a perfume with that name.
Pleasures by Gwyneth Paltrow: Tones of tofu and smug perhaps?
Devil Woman by Cliff Richard: Cliff who? I’ll ask my mom.
Cat Deluxe with Kisses and Paradise Passion by Naomi Campbell: Roja Dove, a leading perfumer, describes one of her perfumes as hideous and said it made him feel physically sick. There’s a selling point.
