Reeves and Winter are officially attached to appear in a sequel written by original creators Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson, and directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest).
At the beginning of their journey, Bill S. Preston, Esq. and "Ted" Theodore Logan are two dimmed bulbs in San Dimas, Ca., who are approached by a time-traveler (the late George Carlin) that needs help saving the universe. The dudes then proceed to race through history, snatching up famous figures along the way.
Later they would appear in the sequel Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, where they battled the grim reaper himself.
