Breaking Dawn Might Be A Movie
More Twilight saga news!
The blockbuster movie Twilight is based on a book by Stephenie Meyer and is one of four books in the series. We already know that the second installment, New Moon, is being filmed in Vancouver and Eclipse is in the works. Now, there are unconfirmed reports that the fourth book in the series might also hit the big screen.
The unconfirmed reports come from TheWrap.com and say that Summit Entertainment will he taking the fourth book in the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn, and making it into a movie. According to TheWrap.com, a "source close to the film's production said that Breaking Dawn will start shooting in the spring of 2010."However, a rep for Summit Entertainment told MTV News late Monday afternoon that the report is untrue.
This is another case of us having to wait and see. However, dedicated Twi-hards shouldn't worry about the fourth installment. If New Moon and Eclipse do well, which they will, Summit Entertainment would be crazy not to produce Breaking Dawn.
New Moon is being directed by Chris Weitz and has a reported budget of $50 million. The film is expected to wrap in late May. Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and the rest of the cast should then get a couple of months off before heading back to Vancouver in late summer 2009 to start working on Eclipse.
New Moon is expected in theatres on November 20, 2009 and Eclipse in June 2010. We can't wait to see what's next for Edward Cullen and Bella!
Until then, we are enjoying catching glimpses of the cast out and about in Vancouver and reading everything we can on sexy Robert Pattinson.
