Bristol Palin's "Modest" DWTS Costumes
Bristol Palin promises she'll be modest.
Who is Bristol Palin kidding? She has a kid and she's broken off an engagement... it's not like wearing a short dress for Dancing with the Stars will be so scandalous that everyone will lose respect for her. However, Bristol's already insisting that her costumes will be "modest."

I'm not sure if Bristol's just passing on the message that her handlers thought would be most appropriate, but she sounds dim. As if a shorter dress will shame her son some day? There's a reason dancers wear revealing dresses, Bristol: to show off their dance moves and to avoid impeding motion.
"I think I will be the most dressed [contestant and have] the most modest outfits for sure because that's who I am," Bristol said to PEOPLE.
I feel obligated to blast Bristol, because I've always been a modest dresser. I like gorgeous clothes, but I'm most comfortable when I'm in a shrug over a tank or something. Judgy, judgy, Bristol! Who cares if your dress is knee-length? I don't, and I'm not cool with Bristol implying that someone can't be shy/respected and wear something that falls in line with professional expectations (i.e. shorter and sassier).

Bristol called herself "naturally shy" and claims that she wants to set a good example for her son. I can understand being shy and not wanting to wear hot pants in front of the nation, but a dancing costume that looks professional has to follow some general guidelines.
