British Men Have the Most Stamina in Bed, says Study

For ladies out there looking for a lengthier love-making session, you may want to jump across the pond. According to a new study, Brit gentlemen have the most stamina in bed, clocking in at an average of ten minutes. American men placed second.

The study, conducted by the Journal of Scientific Medicine, was examining premature ejaculation (defined as the inability to last more than a minute) when it measured the sexual performance of 500 men across several countries.

The results showed that British men lasted the longest, going an average of ten minutes before reaching orgasm. American men were second with an average of eight minutes, followed by the Dutch at six minutes, the Spanish with five minutes and Turkish men at just over four.

One participant, whose nationality wasn't released, lasted a mere six seconds. On the opposite side of the spectrum, another participant lasted for 52 minutes.

According to a spokesman, the study also found that the use of a condom didn't make much of a difference in regards to time, and men who drank alcohol before sex tended to last longer.
