Britney Spears fan has spent big money to follow star

Britney Spears' biggest UK fan has revealed he has spent £10,000 in the last 10 years following the star. Part-time sales assistant Matthew Blyth, 20, said he spends 90 per cent of his wages on the singer's DVDs, CDs, posters and costumes.

Blyth said he has an "emotional connection" with Spears and has even created a shrine to her in his bedroom in Kettering, Northants. He said: "I have followed her every move - and I cried when she shaved her head. I would do anything to meet her." Blyth will appear on a new documentary called Britney Spears Saved My Life, in which he performs ...Baby One More Time.
