Broke? Buy Some UGG's

Recession or not, it looks like UGG's are here to stay.

They're not getting the boot.

Even with the economy tanking, some things just don't seem to be affected. Like the sale of milk, and bread. And UGG's.

Yes, you read that right. Apparently UGG's, the sheepskin boots made for snow and often worn in sunny LA, are recession-proof. The boots are still selling strongly, and when we checked out the situation at Nordstrom, certain styles were on back-order.

And hello, the shoes are ugly. What's the deal? They're not even good for your feet. According to the Society of Chiropodists (is that a word?) and Podiatrists, their flat soles can cause a lot of problems.

Sort of like stiletto heels. And we all know those will never go out of style.
