Brooklyn Decker is everyone's online hunt this morning. Last night on The Late Show with David Letterman, Decker was unveiled as the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl. We have workout tips from Brooklyn Decker for you below -- but at first glance, how did she respond to the opportunity? "It's shocking," Decker said.
Shocking in a good way, she added, saying it's also "a dream come true." Brooklyn Decker is the 22-year-old wife of tennis pro Andy Roddick, and a model who's been modeling swimsuit and lingerie since she was about 17.
Brooklyn Decker first posed for Sports Illustrated five years ago, and it sounds like she built up her hopes to land on the cover of SI's Swimsuit Issue. And Decker wasn't the only one on pins and needles: her mom wanted her daughter on the Sports Illustrated cover too! Says Brooklyn Decker, "My mom cried ... It's nice for my family because they don't have to stress about it anymore."
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue was shot in the Maldives by award-winning sports photographer Walter Lioos, who's known for his Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue images of models like Elle MacPherson and Rachel Hunter from the 1980s and '90s. Of the anxiety that goes into the shoot, Brooklyn Decker said, "We're all on pins and needles before the issue comes out, because the cover is something all the girls want so badly."
