Bruce Willis is Tired of Making Action Movies
Bruce Willis No Longer Wants to Do Action Adventure Movies
Demi Moore's ex-hisband, Bruce Willis, is sick to death of the movie genre that made him a household name -- and about a gazillion dollars.
The actor, 58, says that he's "bored" with action adventure movies.
In an interview for a Spanish magazine called XLS, to promote his latest film "Red 2," the new dad said, ""I am very clear with who I am. I work in all sorts of films, but the action movies are the ones that generate the most revenue. I like to earn lots of money from those, but I do all types: small productions, megaprojects, medium sized, even science fiction."
Willis, has been getting a lot of heat from his fellow action hero actor pals. Earlier this month Sylvester Stallone made news when he announced that Harrison Ford would replace Willis in the upcoming "Expendables 3" movie.
Stallone tweeted the following, "WILLIS OUT ... HARRISON FORD IN!!! GREAT NEWS!!!! Been waiting years for this !!!" Then, moments later, posted this not-so-cryptic jab, "GREEDY AND LAZY ... A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE."
Perhaps in reply to this, Willis said in the interview with XLS that he's not "someone who spends the whole day counting his money," nor does he "dance for joy" when his paychecks come in.
