File this one under dumb, disgusting and totally negligent. A Burger King employee thought it'd be funny to snap a photo of himself stomping on two canisters of lettuce, then upload it the Internet. No way he'd be caught, right?

Wrong. Mr. Brilliant uploaded the pic to 4Chan, which, thanks to GPS, pinpointed his exact location. Appalled 4Chan users immediately notified news stations in his town of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, who quickly made the story national.

BUT GET THIS: the guy wasn't fired right away. Instead, his manager told the press he was going to cut him some slack, given that it was his first disciplinary offense during a long career at the fast food chain.

A long, career huh? Worried he's done this before? Yeah, me too.

Eventually someone over there had the sense to fire both the employee and the manager. A higher-up later told the Cleveland Scene both men had been given the ax.

Let's hope in the future the King pays a little more attention to who's working in his royal kitchen.
