Burger King Expanding Home Delivery Service

Enjoy a Whopper From the Comfort of Your Own Couch

Burger King announced yesterday that it is going to be expanding its home delivery service -- meaning that if you live in one of the chosen cities, you can pick up the phone and order a bacon sundae with a side of fries and have it brought right to your front door.

That's right, New Yorkers will soon join denizens of Washington, D.C., Houston and Miami in being able to summon The King to their homes.

Burger King delivery service is available from 11am to 10pm with a minimum order of $10. The caveat? You can't get fountain soda (they'll bring you a can though) or any breakfast items.

As one wag who writes for Gawker put it, "The service provides a wonderful opportunity for foodies who have always wanted to try Burger King, but never dreamed they'd be able to get a table." Heh.
