New (and old) love is in the air.
Everyone seems to be in love. And by everyone we mean a few celebrity couples.
It started when Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling were caught snuggling (triggering a collective sigh of relief from all The Notebook fans). Please be back together! Get married! Have a baby! Buy a house and bake chicken for dinner!
Now we're hearing rumblings that Anne Hathaway could have made a love connection at last week's DNC in Denver with fellow actor (and Democrat) Josh Lucas. Thank goodness she kicked that loser criminal ex-bf to the curb. Josh is a cutie and (we assume) without a record. A definite improvement.
Next up on our couple radar is Cameron Diaz and model-beau (and Aniston ex) Paul Sculfor. The two were seen shopping and laughing in NYC this past weekend. Nice to see Cameron happy and in love, especially after ex J. Timberlake rebounded with Jessica Biel.
Not all couples are created equal, which was made glaringly clear when we heard that sleaze-ball John Mayer had moved on to a no-name cocktail waitress whom he met in Miami. Nothing against waitresses but his ex is Jennifer Aniston. Further proof that Jen can do soooo much better.
But how could we forget the couple that is on America's mind? Pregnant teen and possible vice-presidential daughter Bristol Palin and her boyfriend Levi Johnston make Rachel and Ryan seem like old (and insignificant) news. Maybe Bristol and Jamie Lynn Spears can be BFFs.
