Cameron Diaz, A-Rod: Love Connection?

Alex Rodriguez is flying free, relationship-wise, so it's no wonder that women are drawn to him like bees to honey. But Cameron Diaz? That's a bit of a surprise. I thought that she could ignore his charm, but here's what went down when the two were partying in Miami before the Super Bowl.

Cameron looked like she was gearing up for a weekend of fun when she hit night spots in Miami before Super Bowl Sunday. According to the tabs, Cameron hung out at the W Hotel with friends Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes... plus a certain Alex Rodriguez.

"They were having a great time," said one person who spotted them at the bash, commenting that Cameron was "grinding on A-Rod."

Katie and Tom chatted at the tables while Cameron partied it up. She was seen talking to the snuggle bunnies at the W in between her stolen moments with A-Rod. One source said that she seemed "tipsy," which would explain why she was busting a move solo before turning to A-Rod. You know she loves to dance, and with a drink in hand? I can only imagine.

While A-Rod loved the attention, the insider also noted that "Katie and Cameron got along great." This is important, because Cam and Tom are currently working on the film Knight and Day together, and they'll be spending plenty of promo time working closely. At least Katie's not clingy and jealous, right?
