Canadians Prefer Bacon To Sex
This gives new meaning to the phrase "porking."
"Bacon is good." That's a statement you could probably make anywhere in the world and you would immediately make friends. But in Canada it carries extra special significance. According to a new survey, bacon is more important than sex.
Dubbed the "For the Love of Bacon Survey," and commishioned of course by bacon seller Maple Leaf Foods Inc., the survey conducted a nation-wide poll in Canada and found that 43% of people would choose bacon over sex.
According to a press release, the survey was conducted in order "to probe how deeply rooted Canadians' passion for bacon is." I think the results have answered that question.
Also discovered in the survey:
73% of Canadians said they love bacon.
18% of Canadian men said they can't survive without bacon.
23% of Canadian men ranked bacon as having the most pleasant aroma.
82% of Canadians who said they love bacon also claimed to be good lovers.
One in four of respondents from Manitoba and Saskatchewan questioned if 'my partner loves bacon more than me.'
