Carrie Underwood Doubts Celeb Status
She doesn't feel like a celebrity.
Carrie Underwood might sing on stage, but she's definitely not full of herself. The country crooner told the press that she's a normal girl who puts on a Carrie costume when she needs to make an impression.

Reminding us she lives in Nashville, Carrie said that she spends her time as "Carrie, the person" wandering around in sweatpants and cleaning.
"When I'm on stage, I feel like a performer, and I know people are looking at me and taking pictures and all that stuff, and they're singing along," Carrie said. "That part is wonderful, but I do live in Nashville. I live the most boring life away from what you see me on camera doing."
She's rich, but she's not spoiled--Carrie does all the regular stuff we do, and she feels like she's playing a part when she does her scheduled appearances.

"[The majority] of the year ... I'm a lover to my doggies, I'm a maid, [and] I clean the house," Underwood said. "[...] But when I have to look like Carrie Underwood, I look like this."
While a lot of celebrities try the "Just like us!" things, few celebs can pull it off. Carrie's one who can, because I believe she's quiet and low-key when she's not on display. Then again, don't most celebs like their downtime and act like "normal people" when they're away from the lens?
