Carrie Underwood Is Mike Fisher's Second "Serious Girlfriend"

Young adults are more selective than ever about choosing a longterm partner to spend their time with. Carrie Underwood's boyfriend Mike Fisher reveals that when it comes to getting serious, he's as cautious as the rest of us.
Underwood, 26, made a lot of headlines when she gave Fisher a shout in the acknowledgments in her new album Play On -- some folks criticized, wondering if it's too soon for the pair to be publicly swapping "I love yous," while others were thrilled to see her so in love. Mike Fisher liked what Carrie wrote, he said. "Obviously, it was very nice," Fisher told the Toronto Sun. "I was happy she included me in something like that."
But Fisher, 29, is not gushing just yet. He says that getting super-serious -- like, married -- is not exactly on his radar. This is really only the second time he's been in love, he says. There has been only one other girlfriend, really," said Fisher. "It lasted a while, but it was a long time ago."
Carrie Underwood says she's sort of in the same boat, as her one-year romance with Fisher is the longest one she's ever had. And the recent rumors about the pair moving in together? Not so much, Carrie says. "Call me old-fashioned," she said. "He's there. I'm here. We're both doing our thing and it's good. The next guy I move in with will be my hubby, whoever that is." She quickly added, "I'm not saying it's going to be him."
And if it is, it sounds like the pair will keep things low-key anyhow. Mike Fisher said, "We're pretty private, and we obviously want to keep it that way ... But at the same time, we're both happy with the way things are."
Which is why we believed it when we heard that Carrie Underwood was moving in to her boyfriend's place!
