Animal Cruelty? Tattoo Artist Gives His Cat a Tat
Some people just do some unbelievably stupid stuff.
Take this guy in Russia, who got the smart idea to tattoo his cat.
For real.
Russian tattoo artist Timur is at the center of the controversy, after he posted photos and video of him tattooing his cat.
He anesthetized the hairless Sphynx for an hour while he inked the tattoo on Coco's chest, then posted photos and video to his VKontakte (Russian Facebook) profile.

There was a veterinarian there to assist with the procedure, so at least he wasn't using his own method to knock the cat out.
He must adore Coco because he himself has a tattoo of her on his arm, but this seems pretty inhumane, don't you think?
Animals do get numeric tattoos so they can be identified if they're lost, so, it's not unheard of to do this to animals, but this ornamental tattoo for fun crosses a line.
Besides that, check the misspelling of "Carpe Diem."
And just look at the cat -- she looks pretty unhappy with the whole situation.
Is it not enough to be one of those ugly hairless cats, but to have your moron owner brand you with some shit about seizing the day?

It's nuts.
OddityCentral reports that local sources say animal tattooing is a fashion trend in Tatarstan with tattoo parlors actually having pricing for pets.
What do you think?
