Celine Dion Isn't Expecting a Baby Anymore
But they'll keep trying
We feel so bad for her! In August, Celine Dion announced that she was pregnant. Now, word is that Celine isn't expecting a baby. What's going on?
Poor Celine! Her doctor confirmed she was pregnant through in vitro fertilization, but unfortunately, the process was unsuccessful. Celine Dion is 41 years old and her husband, Rene Angelil, is 67. The couple currently has one child born in 2001.
Celine's husband told Canadian papers, "We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use [IVF]. The process can be long and arduous... But today, we are full of confidence. Celine is more determined than ever."
We feel sorry for the couple; it must be so tough, especially after announcing the pregnancy. At least Celine's husband sounds quite supportive. Rene says, "I admire all the women who go through such a tough process. Since April, she has undergone numerous examinations, multiple hormone injections and blood tests... Celine and I didn't get discouraged ... we put our faith in life and in the stars."
