Chad Johnson Arrested, Loses NFL Job After Domestic Violence Charge
The Former "Ochocinco" Was Arrested for Allegedly Head-Butting Wife and Basketball Wives Star Evelyn Lozada
Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson may have purchased what will turn out to be the most expensive box of condoms ever.
The NFL player and his new wife, Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, reportedly got into a fight Saturday night over a receipt Lozada found for a box of condoms.

The argument escalated to a physical altercation, and police arrested Johnson on a domestic violence charge after Lozada said her husband had head-butted her in front of their Florida home, CBS News reports.
Johnson was released on $2,500 bond Sunday morning, and TMZ.com reports that a Sunday afternoon meeting between Johnson and his Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin ended with Johnson being cut from the team.
The fight, which reportedly began during dinner and continued as the couple returned home, ended with Johnson allegedly screaming at his wife, saying "I don't give a f**k! I don't give a f**k about my career!"

And after Johnson head-butted his wife, which reportedly left a three-inch laceration on her forehead, TMZ reports she fled to a neighbor's house for safety and called the police, while Johnson drove around their neighborhood looking for her.
The drama comes just over a month after the couple's July 4 wedding in Miami, and a month before their VH1 reality series, Ev & Ocho, is scheduled to premiere.
The reality show is scheduled to show their relationship leading up to the wedding, including planning for the big event, skepticism from friends and family about their tempestuous relationship (they broke up at least once before getting hitched) and, from the VH1 website, their "ongoing discussion about his female 'friends.'"
Ev & Ocho is scheduled to premiere on VH1 on Sept. 3.
